Melbourne Law School Public Event – Current Issues in Maritime Law

In this Judges in Conversation event, Professor Martin Davies and Justice Steven Rares will
address a range of current issues in maritime and admiralty law, including damages for wrongful arrest,recognition of foreign maritime liens,the intersection between cross-border insolvency and admiralty, and the shortcomings of the UNCITRAL Model Law, particularly when circumstances change in relation to the foreign insolvency proceedings.
