26th International Maritime Law Arbitration Moot 2026

The University of Sydney is hosting the 26th edition of the International Maritime Law Arbitration Moot (IMLAM).
This prestigious annual event brings together university teams from across the globe to demonstrate their legal expertise and advocacy skills in a challenging competition focused on international maritime law.
The Australian Maritime and Transport Arbitration Commission (AMTAC), which is a commission of ACICA, is once again pleased to sponsor the Spirit of the Moot prize, recognising outstanding collegiality, professionalism and sportsmanship throughout the competition.
Call for arbitrators
The University of Sydney is currently welcoming expressions of interest from arbitrators who are interested in serving as judges during the IMLAM 2026 rounds.
Any legal professionals / arbitrators willing to assist with the judging of the oral rounds of the Moot in Sydney are invited to express their interest via the Arbitrator Registration Form on the IMLAM MOOT website International Maritime Law Arbitration Moot – The University of Sydney
